TASTE TEST EDUCATION A.K.A….THE SEMINARS

taste
BAR TBA – May 17, 2014
$30 each, Advance Purchase Only (Special Deal – Purchase all four for $100!)
11:00 AM Wine, Wine, Wine!

Get ready for an all-encompassing hour of wine, wine, and more wine. French grapes in Texas, and Texans are being recognized for their efforts in French Winemaking Competitions? France has a reputation for wine and Texas has been working hard to compete in the wine market. Some of the best new world wines inspired by old world techniques make up this two sip tasting education. Some Texas wine, some French wine and some special guests set the stage for an hour of fun!

12:30 PM Battle of the Sexes

This won’t be a classic case of Whodunit; this will solve the mystery of Whodunit better.  When we pit the female winemakers against male winemakers, it’ll be up to you to decide which gender has truly mastered the art of winemaking. So see for yourself who has what it takes – the men or the women.

2:00 PM Wine Plus Cocktails

This tasty time is back by popular demand and better than ever with more creative cocktails that happen to incorporate your favorite wine. Everything is better with a little wine, and the pros are bringing you more delectable concoctions to entice your taste buds in a way that leaves you wanting more.

3:30 PM Bourbon vs. Scotch

Are you in the mood for a smoother finish to your afternoon? For those who truly love bourbon, we bring to you small batch bourbon. Special consideration, time and perfection of the craft has gone into each bottle of small batch bourbon. Just as the name implies, the small batch bourbons featured in this Taste Test Education have each aged a minimum of six years. We invite you to taste the difference as our special guest, Heather Jensen, Whiskey Ambassador and Small Batch Bourbon Expert takes us through a tasting of these bourbons: Baker’s, Basil Hayden, Booker’s, Knob Creek Single Barrel Reserve, and Knob Creek Rye.

TICKETS:  Visit our Ticket page to buy tickets for these seminars!

LOCATION:  2801 N St. Mary’s Street, San Antonio, TX 78212
